Today is the day that marks one year since I received the worst phone call in my life, the one that told me Mom had passed away. Now it is a year later and it still doesn't seem real and I am not sure it ever will. Today I made a slideshow video to honor her incredible life that included a ton of photos of her a few of her favorite songs plus an original that one of my brother FROG which he wrote for her memorial service.

Dear Mom,
I miss you so much. I miss you more than I ever thought possible. I still pick up the phone to call you. When we get together as a family and Orangutan comes in from smoking I still pause to see you come in right behind him like you always did. There are just so many little things that I miss things that at the time seemed so small but made up so much of my life with you. Like I said I miss you. I also want you to know that I love you and I always will. Saturday we are going to take your ashes to that favorite spot of yours and put you to rest finally. I know that you will be at peace there and while I don't know that it will be any easier to live with out you, knowing you are at peace will help I think. I am glad that you are pain free and I know that your spirit is soaring high and full of laughter and peace. I am sure you are keeping Roxi and your angle grandbabies company playing and laughing with them while you watch over you loved ones. These thoughts make it easier to live without you but life will still never be the same. Rest easy Mom and know that I love you more than I ever could tell you and I miss you every day.
