Spring Semester 2013
So today was the first day of classes and the two that I had today were great. I can tell that I am going to like both of these teachers. They each have their own unique energy and are both full of information. I am really looking forward to class in the morning. Then Monday no school and I have a couple more classes to go to on Tuesday and Wed and then I will have been to all of them at least once. I love this part of school. The excitement of starting a new semester gives me so much hope for all the interesting things that I am going to learn. YAY new semester. Over the long weekend I am going to be putting together a schedule for homework and other things like that so that I can be nice and organized.

NEW BABY
The new baby has arrived and is a healthy little one. SO thankful for the safe and healthy delivery of our newest member to our circle/family. We love this little one so much its crazy. Thankful that both mommy and baby are healthy and that the labor was quick and that my BEST friend was able to stick to her all natural birth plan. Let me tell you she set the bar REALLY high for when it is my turn. She did an amazing job and it was a life changing expereince that I am so thankful to have been apart of.

All moved in
Well all of our things are finally in our apartment. We have been moving things for the past two days and it has been pouring down rain...and today we have sunshine. Which is a very welcome thing since it is Friday and that means that I can air our the new apartment while we get some things situated and boxes can be carried in and out without worrying about the carpet getting soaked.
Now comes the fun part deciding where the stuff goes and getting to decorate and hang pictures and stuff. I love this part of moving it is so much fun.

Moving DAY
Moving Day has finally arrived and well its pouring down rain. Thank goodness I have some wonderful helpers or this would take forever. I am also being very thankful that we have so many vehicles to aid in the move and that we are only going to have to move things downstairs and not back up because the new apartment is on the bottom floor. I am really loving that part for Adeimar and well for all of us because its raining and some of this stuff would be difficult and its all going to be somewhat heavy so YAY for no more stairs. THANKS so much to all of our helpers we would not be able to do this with out all of you.

Happy 8th Anniversary
Happy Anniversary to the love of my life. I can hardly believe that it has been 8 years since we said our vows. I feel incredibly fortunate to say that I am your wife. You are always there for me. You make me laugh, and help to create some wonderful memories. I love you and I am so looking forward to what this year will bring. I am also looking forward to another 88 years together. I hope that you have a wonderful day celebrating with me, and I can hardly wait to share in some of our wedding pie later this evening.

Celebration
This weekend Adeimar and I are celebrating our 8th wedding anniversary early since it lands on a Monday this year. We have a tradition with our best friends where we go out and celebrate at Olive Garden every year. This year we wanted to do something a little different so we recreated the Olive Garden experience at home. I went on Pintrest and found some of our favorite things at Olive Garden with the help my my Best Friend we recreated a meal from Olive Garden to enjoy with one another.
This year is extra special for us since it is the last year that it will be just the four of us since our BEST Friends are expecting in the next week. We decided that we would make things a little more fun and special by playing some old school Halo a game that we all enjoy and watching some movies/television. Plus a sleep over complete with pancakes for breakfast and leftovers from last night's feast for lunch.
This has been one of my favourite celebrations and I know that I will cherish it always.
I linked the recipes we used below in case you would like to recreate an Olive Garden experience for yourself.
Olive Garden Salad Dressing < Really does taste just like it
Olive Garden Bread Sticks <------This one is a perfect copy cat.
Chicken Alfredo Rollups <----we previously found this one on Pintrest & loved it.
---------
Others we found but didn't try this time:
Olive Garden Stuffed Mushrooms
Cheese Stick bites

Photo Projects for 2013
Good Morning friends. I hope that all of you are having a wonderful time in this brand new year that we have been given. I have decided to participate in a a four photo projects this year. I know, I know that is a lot of photos but I LOVE taking pictures so it will be a fun thing for me to do as a stress relief and hobby all in one.
The first is called Moments that Matter. -- I found this one on a site that I enjoy visiting for all kinds of party ideas, tutorials on just about anything, and all kinds of tips for things in your day to day life. It is called TipJunkie.com You can find the details of this photo challenge/project by clicking the link above.
I am going to be doing the 365 Days of Gratitude, which will be complete with photos of course. I got the idea for this one from reading this site about the original 365 Gratitude project.
I am going to be doing a project called 13 on 13 in 13 ...which is hwere I take 13 photos of things in my every day life and then make a scrapbook page using them. This one was inspired by a digital scrapbooking site that I frequent Gottapixel .
Last but not least I am also going to be doing a 365 project for my my 8th year of marriage to my wonderful husband...but it wont start until our anniversary next week. This project will not be finished until our 9th anniversary in 2014 This project was inspired by the 365 Gratitude project. I love my wonderful husband and to keep him from being the main thing that I talk about in that project I decided to do an extra photo project that it is centred on him, and us as a couple for a full year starting on our anniversary.
Feel free as we go through the year to let me know what you think of the projects and of the photos. I hope that you all have a wonderful day.
My Plans for 2013
Well I do hope that everyone is having a great new year so far as we begin day two of 2013. As well all know this is traditionally the time of year where we look back over the last year and pick things that we would like to change, adjust, or stop doing. That is what the post will be about...my plans for 2013.
Well to start off I plan to do a few things that are family oriented in my life to help me not only have more of an appreciation of this year and the things that happen in it but also to be able at years end to have plenty of photos to go with it. (As if I need more of a reason to take photos) I want to be the best wife that I can, the best sister, granddaughter, daughter, best friend, or friend that I can be and 2013 I am going to be examining these relationships and making adjustments to them to help make this possible.
I am also planning to live a more healthy lifestyle than I did in 2012. My focus for this resolution will be less about the amount of weight that I loose and more on me making the changes that I should make to have a healthier year so that the changes will become part of my life not just another attempt to loose weight.
The next plan that I have for 2013 is going to be to explore my spiritual path more fully and with more dedication than that of 2012. I am a baby in this spiritual path and I am planning to at least become a toddler by the end of 2013.
The fourth is to make a stronger commitment to saving money this year. I plan to do this by using coupons, making more things myself, including homemade breads and things of that nature that not only measure up the the being healthier this year but are also cost effective.
The last major thing that I am making plans to do is take a leap of faith and trust the advice of my husband and others close to me and embark on something that is a little scary for me......But I am not prepared to reveal what that is at the moment. Just know that in addition to opening my own daycare when I graduate I am looking to do something else as well ...something that I had never before considered until my husband Adeimar, mentioned it to me.
This all sounds like a lot to do I know but I am nothing if not determined. What are your resolutions for 2013? Do you have any plans big or small that you are going to do? Feel free to share in the comments.
