That new haircut feeling is so nice especially when you cut off as much hair as I did. My future sister in law and her mother did it for me and it really does feel fantastic to have less hair especially since before this haircut it went down to my waist.

Today I was able to finish up the newborn crochet Minnie Mouse hat that I have been working on for my niece. Now that it is finished I just have to wait for her arrival into the world to see how well it fits her. I am so looking forward to meeting her and spending hours cuddled up with her while her parents rest.

Went on a short little road trip to be with my brother and my future sister in law for the birth of my niece who is due anytime now and look who tagged along to pick me up from the bus station. So glad that this handsome little guy was apart of my welcome committee because I have been looking forward to seeing him too. Lots of love and giggle sot be had with him once we get back to his house.

Since my  sweet niece could arrive at any point now I decided that it was time for me to head up to be with my baby brother, future sister in law and nephew for the arrival of the newest member of the family. Everybody is just so excited about it and I know that I am ready to meet her for sure. I already purchased the bus tickets and I get to leave first thing in the morning. It is just a short little four hour bus ride and then it will be time to snuggle my nephew and help his parents do the last minute things needed to get ready for their newest bundle's arrival.

I am not the typical girl and I truly dislike shoe shopping, despite the fact I think shoes are cute, I would much rather just go barefoot if I have the choice. Sadly I don't get the option very often and my poor tennis shoes needed an upgrade so it was time to brave the shoe store and find a new pair for me to enjoy. Luckily I wasn't making this trip alone because my husband also needed some new tennis shoes as well as a pair for his new job. I tried on probably two dozen different shoes and then I finally found these and they were the perfect fit as soon as they were on my feet  I knew they were going to be perfect for me. I even liked the contrasting shade of pink on the black. Since I like my new shoes so much I decided that I should snap a quick photo of them and show them off to the world.

Tonight I took my husband somewhere he had never been before HUEY'S. It is one of my favorite local burger places and it has been a long time since I have been there and they didn't disappoint. We both were starving when we got there but that was remedied pretty quickly. Thanks to their exceptionally fast service. We had  a wonderful time and I think I even managed to convert my husband into a Huey's fan as a little added bonus.
